Benefit Cosmetics

Is it just me or does Benefit have some of the cutest blushes?

Here are my three favorite powder blushes from them!

Georgia

Dust this peaches and cream powder lightly all over your complexion then brush on the apples of your cheeks for a warm, happy glow. The sheer peach blush looks beautiful on all complexions, and the delicate peach scent will leave you radiating sunshine! The powder also looks great dusted on the eye lids.

Dandelion

Start your day the "perk-me-up" way, and keep them guessing how you look so pretty this early in the morning. Dust on our soft, pink, perk-me-up powder for instant radiance and a youthful appearance. It's the perfect shade of pink that brightens everyone's complexion without looking powdery or chalky.

Thrrrob

Turn on the flush, turn up the rush... with thrrrob, our new "turned on" face powder. This pulse-racing pink powder simulates the natural flush you get when your heart races. With accompanying brush, lay it on light across cheekbones, forehead and chin. Then sit back & let the excitement begin! It's a turn on!

You can buy each of these products for $28 at all Benefit counters as well as benefitcosmetics.com

New (but temporary) Layout!

We have picked a lovely layout for the time being.
We will be using it until I can finally find a way to make my own layout exactly how i want it :) Enjoy this layout for now!

edit (january 19, 2009, 8:05pm): the new layout will take at least a week to put on the site. That is what I will be hard working on, so there will be no new pixel art until the new layout is done. Chelsie will be making new posts during the time I am working on the new layout. Thank you!

Leftover Lasagna

I invented this one lasagna recipe with leftovers in my fridge!

Ingredients: cheese, bread, sauce, pasta, oil/fat

First line a baking pan with oil, butter, margarine, or any other type of oil/fat.

Use old bread even if it is different kinds (the end pieces, sweet bread, stale bread, bread that is too hard, anything unless it is moldy!) and lay it on the bottom of the baking pan.

If you wish you can then put over a layer of tomato sauce (cream, pesto, or other variation could work too and/or cheese.

Cover with any kind of pasta you have (different pastas all at once is fine too). I used spaghetti...

Next, cover in more cheese and/or sauce (keep layering these three if you wish) until you get to almost the top of the pan with the last pasta layer.

Put one more layer of sauce and cover with cheese and bake.

Because (in my variation) all ingredients are cooked, you only have to heat it up until the cheese turns golden but you can add other ingredients too and adjust the temperature and time.

I covered the pan in foil and put it on the lowest temperature setting and put it in the oven for 30 minutes.

Hope you find it as yummy as I did!

Original Pixels!

I've been experimenting on GIMP (an image-editing program - free for download!) and UnFreez. With these two programs, I made some cute images! Look at them, and tell me what you think! If you like them, I'll keep making more ♥.
